Scientist of the Week

We recently started scientist of the week. Each Friday our scientist will demonstrate an experiment of their choosing after spending the week practicing it at home. Jaidyn was our first and brought her assistant to help her. Jaidyn prepared an experiment using a balloon, lemon juice & baking soda. Ask us what happened! Jaidyn did an excellent job explaining the steps she took and talked about the many ways she tried the experiment at home. She also demonstrated using different amounts of lemon juice to see if it would have a different impact on the size of the balloon. We will use these experiments to do some inquiry science in the future and extend basic concepts to help us better understand the world of science! Our next scientist will be Brady!
