Book Swap
Halloween Book Swap!
Kids bring in gently used books Oct. 24th -Oct. 29th.
Research shows that the easiest way of getting kids to read is to provide them with texts that they are interested in. So, let’s do that! B kids bring in gently used childrens’ books they have
already read. On Halloween Day, kids will be invited to choose other books. Kids may swap up to three
books! If a child chooses to bring in more than 3, those books will be considered a donation to our book
bins students browse during lunchtime. Let’s get new books for lunch and new books for each other. No
tricks, only treats!

Costume Parade
On Tuesday, October 30th @ 2PM we will have our school wide halloween parade. If your child chooses to participate, please send a costume in their backpack. We will not be wearing our costume throughout the day. We will get ready before the parade and help children dress in their costume. Our room moms will be contacting you about our small "batty" celebration following the parade. All are welcomed to join!
