Great Bay & Odiorne

We had an awesome time exploring the Great Bay Estuary & Odiorne- so much fun packed into the last few weeks! We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful state. We learned about the estuary and rocky shore & spent the past few weeks learning about the creatures that you may find in an in both habitats. We also learned a lot about the life cycle of a Horseshoe Crab. It was so neat to see the creatures up close and have the chance to hold them. We were so careful and respectful of all the animals we saw.

At Great Bay We spent our day with 2-O and went on a nature walk, had a chance to touch and learn about animals in the touch tank (Flounder, Eels, Horseshoe crabs) and spent time at the estuary searching for Horseshoe crabs... unfortunately we didn't come across any this year. We learned some very cool things about Horseshoe crabs...ask us!
We also had a great visit to Odiorne to explore the Rocky Shore. We found lots of crabs, periwinkles, oysters, anemones & even a lobster swimming around! Best of all the rain stayed away. We had perfect exploring weather!

Thanks to our chaperones for joining us! We appreciate your support!

P.S. I have been having some trouble getting the photos uploaded, but I think finally retrieved them! I wills email a link soon!
