Our poetry notebooks came home this weekend! Each week we learn poems based around our curriculum themes- we would love to share them with you! It is great to read poems again and again to build stronger fluency, expression and confidence in our reading! Look for our poetry notebooks most weekends! Please return each Monday so we can add to it each week! Thanks for your support!

•   Use accents when performing poems.

•   Encourage kids to use gestures or movements as they read poems.

•    Read poems together as a duet.

•   Hunt for sight words within poems.
