Scientist of the week Charlie!

Charlie was recently our scientist of the week and brought her dad along to assist her. She showed us how to melt a candle using a wire! Her assistant bent the wire coat hanger back and forth, creating  friction which heated up the wire. We could see the wax melt on the candle when Charlie placed it on the candle...pretty neat! Nice work Charlie!
