Going Batty

We have been having lots of fun learning about bats... we started our unit by having an open discussion about whether we thought bats are birds... did you know they are the ONLY mammal that can fly? This is one reason that explains why bats are NOT birds... they are mammals, they do not lay eggs and they have fur. We also brainstormed a list of knowledge we have about bats...we call this our schema. We have been adding to our list as our knowledge has grown. A
