Bat Experts...

We had so much fun with our pet book clubs that we were eager to start bat book clubs too! We split our class into 4 small and have had the opportunity to ask lots of questions and search & discuss our findings with each other. It has been fun to share our knowledge with each other and compare what we have learned with other groups. Some of us have changed our view of how we felt about bats... before we became educated about them we thought they were scary, harmful creatures... after lots of research & learning we have found that bats are actually helpful. Did you know... bats eat about 600 mosquitos within an hour.. WOW!
