Butterfly Lifecycle

We are thoroughly enjoying our caterpillar friends! I have to admit, it has been pretty neat watching them change day by day.... nature is amazing! We are patiently awaiting one of our caterpillars to transform into a Monarch Butterfly! The others in that group didn't quite make it- it has been a bit of trial and error this time. I think the hot temperatures when we began our year didn't help. 

The second group is thriving so far! 

We have really enjoyed observing and learning about the lifecycle of the butterfly. Ask us what we have learned!
