Ocean Stories

We had quite the workout to end our year, but we successfully finished our ocean stories! We each picked an ocean animal to research and create a story around. This was a big undertaking but gave us the opportunity to follow each step of the writing process from plan to published piece. We created pictures first using beautiful watercolor techniques that we learned--this helped bring our stories to life. We worked hard to generate lists of descriptive words to enhances our stories and used many trade books that modeled descriptive writing. We enjoyed sharing them with each other and hope you enjoyed reading them together as well!
