Now boarding to Africa!

We have a new passport stamp to Africa! Ms. Bates created this unit as part of her UNH curriculum project. We started off answering questions about our prior knowledge/"schema" of Africa: What do you know about Africa? How is Africa different than where we live? What does Africa look like? We then presented our passport & ticket and boarded our plane. We will be learning about the languages, land & culture of Africa. We also hope to be in contact with Ms. Akerley's class (former 4th grade teacher @ EKES who is now teaching in S. Africa!) More to come as our study gets going!
