Counting Coins

We participated in a mini-unit on counting money to prepare for our bake sale! We learned a bit about each coin-- see if we can remember the different faces of each! We learned about each coins value through sorting activities and practiced counting in sequence of 5¢, 10¢ & 25¢. Some of us challenged ourselves to count a collection of coins and did quite well! Here are a few free (have advertisements) websites that focus on coin skills!
